Pet films center entirely on a single pet or a group of pets as the primary drivers of the plot. Dogs are historically the most common subjects, making "dog films" the largest recognized subcategory. However, here you will meet a host of pets including cats, ferrets, penguins, and a monkey named "Jack". Being from Texas, some horses are considered pets, so you'll see a few of them on this list, too.
