"Are you a God-fearing man,
Senator? That is such a strange phrase. I've always thought of
God as a teacher; a bringer of light, wisdom, and understanding.
You see, I think what you really are afraid of is me. -

Why watch this?
The first X-Men film was action-packed and welcomed by hungry
fans.
Plot Summary: In a
world where mutants exist alongside humans but face prejudice, a
young mutant named Rogue encounters the gruff, amnesiac mutant
Wolverine. They are drawn into the conflict between Professor
Charles Xavier's X-Men, who advocate for peaceful coexistence,
and Magneto's Brotherhood of Mutants, who believe in mutant
supremacy. The film centers on these two groups as they clash
over the future of mutant-kind.
Dad's Preview:
When I read the press on this upcoming film, I was curious to
see the actor they'd choose for Wolverine. In the
comics, I never understood why folks loved him so much, but I am
not a Marvel reader. Thanks to this film, I now understand, and Jackman plays him TO PERFECTION. This is a very good team origin
story. We get to know each
character, and the man who brings them together, Charles Xavier,
portrayed by Star Trek: The Next Generation's Patrick Stewart.
