				"The story goes he
made a deal to save someone he loved. He'd be normal during the
				day,
but at night, in the presence of evil, the Rider takes
				over."

				Why watch this? I
love Ghost Rider as a comic book anti-hero, but it's Nick Cage who
pushes this film to the top.
				Plot Summary:
Johnny Blaze, a motorcycle stuntman, makes a deal with the demon
Mephistopheles to save his dying father. However, his father
dies shortly after, and Johnny is cursed to become the Ghost
Rider, a fiery spirit of vengeance tasked with hunting down
rogue demons for Mephistopheles. He must confront Blackheart,
Mephistopheles's son, who seeks to overthrow his father and
bring a new, worse hell to Earth. Dad's Preview:
The concept of a hero who is basically a burning skeleton might
seem hard to pull off on film. However, this movie works, and the
special effects are visually cool as freak! It is certainly
helped by a strong supporting cast including Sam Elliott, Eva
Mendes, and Peter Fonda. At times, it can be a bit trippy, but that's part of
the fun. The Rider's motorcycle, like
				Spawn's
(1997) red cape, has a personality of its own, and that also
				elevates this film.
