Why watch this?
This sequel is loaded with intense situations and zombie-genre
dread.
Plot Summary:
Six months after the initial Rage Virus outbreak decimated
Britain, NATO forces establish a safe zone in London to begin
repopulating the country, believing the epidemic has been
contained. The peace is shattered when two children break
quarantine to find their mother, inadvertently reintroducing the
virus into the safe zone through a carrier.

Dad's Preview:
This follow-on to Danny Boyle's surprise zombie hit,
28 Days Later
(2002), is an intense character study focused on a
single family fighting to survive. There is heartbreak
as a husband abandons his wife, only to discover that
she survived and may be the secret to a vaccine - there
is finally a modicum of hope. Then the wheels come off
the cart. New infections quickly spread and it is
body-cam mayhem soaked in blood, screams, and zombies at
a buffet table. Though the flick is not overtly
political, I did note the dig at the American military,
waltzing in to "fix" things, only to discover that all
its might won't make a difference. These undead
marauders mean business.
