individual experiences. Cavalry films focus on the U.S.
Cavalry, often depicting their interactions with Native
Americans or their involvement in conflicts in the West.
During the period between the 1940s and the 1960s, a trend
emerged where Civil War stories were told in a Western
setting, integrating elements of cavalry films.
