His North Carolina cert. of death says his father was "Plato" Durham, and it is clearly written.  This mother is Nattie Strowd, but it's not as clearly written. Both are indicated as from born in Orange County. Still need to find more information on him. Grace (Bane) Durham was born in Virginia, as were her parents, per the 1930 US Census.
