In 1850, married to Robert Shelton, her age is 20, indicating she was born circa 1830. Ten years later, her age given is 37, pushing her date of birth back seven years to circa 1823. B. Price, was a Private in the 34th Mississippi Regiment. Unable to find that he died as a result of the war. Elizabeth (Bettie), Thomas and William show up on the 1880 Census for District 1, LaudCtyTN.

Notes:

This is not "Colonel Thomas Durham", but they did live in Lauderdale County, TN at the same time and they were cousins. There is some debate among Durham researchers regarding Thomas' father. Some feel his father was William Lindsey Durham. The dates do match up for both situations. More research is required to solve the mystery.  For now, I am going to go with Thomas Durham Sr. as his father.
