Dad's Preview:
This horror film is told in six, non-linear segments, each one
from the perspective of a different main character. Each segment
brings us to current, then the next goes back in time, then
catches up again, and so on. It's a great way to introduce the
players, which also helps the audience see things from different
perspectives. Any film dealing with kidnapped children is
horrible and Weapons no exception. It's haunting,
supernatural and you'll be thinking, "Where the hell is all this
going...?" Then it gets there and... DAMN! The acting is superb,
and there is something compelling about Julia Garner. However,
the film's star is veteran actress Amy Madigan - Wow. What a
performance! |
