DML Rating: ★★★★★★★☆☆☆ - good

"You just get that big stick out of your keester young lady, and we'll get along just fine." – Buck to his sassy teen niece, Tia

Why watch this? How can you not love the rotund John Candy. He brings a lotta love.

Plot Summary: When the last babysitting option falls through, Buck is enlisted to baby-sit his brother's three children: a highly intelligent 8-year-old, a cute 6-year-old, and a 15-year-old girl, Tia, who is mad at the world. Buck knows nothing about suburban living, but makes due with chores and picking the kids up at school... all to Tia's snobbery and embarrassment.

Dad's Preview: Candy portrays that uncle. You know, indulgent, afraid of commitments, often out of a job, drives a smoking POS car, but at heart, a good guy who still loves family, when they let him near them. This family film is funny (oh man, when he tells off the school principle) and really sweet. Buck may be an annoying, cigar-puffing oaf, but when the time comes, he certainly is there for the family that he loves.
