Why watch this? Some
films grab you from the start. This role-flipping
dark comedy is a riot!
Plot Summary:
Good-natured hillbillies Tucker and Dale are on vacation at
their dilapidated mountain cabin when they are mistaken for
murderers by a group of really dumb preppy college students. A
series of comical and tragic misunderstandings escalate as the
students accidentally cause their own demise. Tucker and Dale
struggle to prove their innocence while simultaneously trying to
protect the lone surviving student.

Dad's Preview:
I have reached my limit of "teens go into the forest and are
murdered one by one" films. But I regress... This film flips
that horror sub-genre on its head and delivers one of the best dark
comedies you'll find. Tucker and Dale are just sweetly ignorant
rednecks trying to get by in this crazy world. A group of
incredibly stupid teens convince themselves
that Tucker and Dale are, you guessed it, serial killers. This
hidden gem is grisly at times,
but in a funny way (yes, I just said that). Of course, there is a wood chipper involved.
