				Plot Summary:
Pete "Maverick" Mitchell, a reckless but talented Navy pilot,
gets a chance to attend Top Gun, an elite training school
for fighter pilots. There, he competes with other skilled
aviators, including his rival, Iceman. While striving to be the
best, Maverick also grapples with his father's mysterious death
and pursues a relationship with a civilian instructor, Charlie. Dad's Preview:
Whether this film floats your boat or not, it is undeniably an
iconic moment from the 1980's. It's star, Tom Cruise, was never
cockier as he portrays Pete "Maverick" Mitchell, a U.S. Navy
pilot with some serious flying talent. He's also reckless and
unpredictable. In the Top Gun Fighter school program, his main
competitor is Tom "Iceman" Kazansky, who is not entertained by
Maverick's attitude. There is a lot of testosterone, and
rooster strutting, all to win the "best pilot" prize. There are
many great moments and quotable lines galore. It is
undeniably an action-filled flight worth taking.
