				Why watch this?
Hoffman nails this role, showing some incredible versatility.
				Plot Summary:
Michael Dorsey, a talented but notoriously difficult actor,
can't find work in New York. Desperate, he disguises himself as
a woman named Dorothy Michaels to audition for a role in a
popular soap opera, which he unexpectedly lands. As Dorothy,
Michael becomes a sensation, navigating the challenges of
portraying a woman while falling for his female co-star Julie. Dad's Preview:
I can usually take or leave Dustin Hoffman, but sometimes a
performance is so good that it can't be denied. In this role, he
disguises himself as a woman to get an acting job. It's not long
before his female persona, Dorothy, becomes a daytime soap
opera sensation. The plot only thickens when falls for his lovely co-star. This film has a lot
				of cross-gender comedy
going on, and it's a pleasure to watch, even if you sort of know
where it's going, right up to the final
				big scene.
