"I don't think of us as criminals, you know? I feel we accomplished something. A good job. I feel proud of myself, man. I feel like a hero." - Lightfoot

Why watch this? ... it's a gripping bank robbery film, when Eastwood was on top, and Bridges a babe.

Plot Summary: Veteran bank robber Thunderbolt is on the run and forms an unlikely partnership with a young, free-spirited drifter named Lightfoot. They soon encounter Thunderbolt's old gang, who mistakenly believe he double-crossed them in a past heist. To prove his innocence and retrieve the missing loot, Thunderbolt convinces his former partners to attempt the same bank robbery again, but with a new plan.

Dad's Preview: This is one of my favorite Eastwood films. A group of hard-luck petty thieves plan a bank heist. The group's mastermind is Thunderbolt, who once robbed the very bank they are now targeting. He develops the plan, but there are tensions within the group. During the robbery, we are just waiting for the double-cross we know is coming. This is a tense story with great characters. A handsome young Jeff Bridges, with his honest smile, steals the film. The ending... well, I didn't see it coming.
