from the law. We're runnin' to the law." – Zack
Why watch this?
Sometimes it's just a lot of fun to see what I guy can do with a
Sherman
tank.
Plot Summary:
Sgt. Major Zack Carey, a decorated soldier, arrives at a new
Army base with his family and his prized, restored Sherman tank.
After Zack intervenes to protect a local woman from a corrupt
deputy, he incurs the wrath of Sheriff Cyrus Buelton, who
retaliates by framing Zack's son on trumped-up drug charges.
With all other options exhausted, Zack uses his vintage tank to
rescue his son.

Dad's Preview:
You know, it's never a good idea to mess with a guy who owns a
Sherman tank. This is pretty standard good guy vs. bullying
lawmen business, but it's fun to watch all the same. James Garner is superb
throughout as a man who won't be bullied by over-zealous local
cops. I have to admit I love
seeing a tank roll over the tops of cars, and blow an 8-foot
hole in the side of a small town jail. Lock and Load! Fire! |
