Why watch this? This
is a pretty good take on Supergirl's origin story.
Plot Summary:
A mysterious young girl with uncontrollable, superhuman powers
crash-lands in Gotham City, where Batman and Superman discover
she is Kal-El's Kryptonian cousin. While Superman
enthusiastically welcomes his new family member, Batman remains
highly suspicious of her intentions. This uncertainty ultimately
draws the attention of the ruthless galactic conqueror Darkseid,
who orchestrates a dangerous scheme to kidnap and brainwash the
newcomer.

Dad's Preview:
As its title does not indicate, this Batman and
Superman team-up is all about that blonde, teen dynamo,
Supergirl. She crash lands in Gotham and Batman is not
amused. Superman, of course, only sees the good in her,
but she needs to find her way. Enter Wonder Woman and
the Amazons to help. I enjoyed this "girl power" film,
and it was great to see our traditional heroes forced to
deal with the strong, stubborn teen. The scene where
Clark takes her shopping is hilarious. There is quite a
surprise at the end, too. This animated actioner is a
great primer for the new Supergirl film hitting
screens the summer of 2026. Up, up and away!
