				"Some people think the
future means the end of history. Well... we haven't run out of
				history quite yet. Your father
				called the future... the
undiscovered country. People can be very frightened of change." –
				Capt. James T. Kirk
				Why watch this? To
watch this wonderful farewell to the original crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise.
				Plot Summary:
As peace negotiations begin between the Federation and the
Klingon Empire, Capt. Kirk and Dr. McCoy are framed for the
assassination of the Klingon Chancellor and imprisoned on a
desolate penal colony. Meanwhile, the crew of the Enterprise
races against time to uncover a conspiracy seeking to undermine
the peace process and spark a galaxy-wide war. Ultimately, both
Kirk's survival and the future of galactic peace depend on the
Enterprise crew exposing the truth. Dad's Preview:
It is amazing that six films into this franchise, this film holds
up, and kicks butt. This is the last voyage of the
Enterprise, and it's a grand adventure. It would be ideal to
watch films 2, 3, and 4 before this (you can skip the weak 5th film).
Here our crew must uncover a sinister plot to start an
intergalactic war. Kirk and McCoy are sent away to a frozen
gulag planet. Spock must solve the mystery to save his friends.
It certainly IS a fitting farewell. Live long and prosper.
