Dad's Preview:
After Wrath of Kahn, expectations were very high.
Star Trek III
(1984) was
good, not great. Thankfully, Lenoard Nimoy kept the directorial
reins and gave us this wonderful film.
Mostly set in 1985 Earth, there are many
great moments where the futuristic crew has to acclimate to
Earth of their past. The heart of the film is their quest to find
two humpback whales and bring them forward in time to
save the earth's future from its destructive nature. This film
is beloved by Trekkies and regular folk alike. It's perfect.
