"Pharaoh has the
power. He can take away your food, your home, your freedom. He
can take away your sons and daughters. With one word, Pharaoh
can take away your very lives. But there is one thing he cannot
take away from you: your faith. Believe, for we will see God's
wonders."

Why watch this?
Another great, powerful musical from DreamWorks.
Plot Summary:
The tells the animated story of Moses, a Hebrew raised as an
Egyptian prince alongside his brother Rameses. After discovering
his true heritage and witnessing the suffering of his people, a
conflicted Moses flees the palace and embraces a new life in the
desert. He is then called upon by God to return to Egypt and
lead the enslaved Israelites to freedom, putting him in direct
opposition to his adoptive brother, who has since become the
Pharaoh.
Dad's Preview:
This beautiful, snappy re-telling of the Moses story upgrades
old, religiously-tethered norms and infuses a nice realism into
the great lawgiver. The musical is filled with songs that rival
any Disney film every made. Adding to its success is a top-notch
voice cast. This animated film will appeal to adults and
children alike; it's easy to enjoy and stands as a spectacular
epic for the entire family.
