Dad's Preview:
This is one of Eastwood's earliest directing efforts,
and it is a pretty good psychological thriller. It
centers on a one-night stand that goes just about as
wrong as you can get. This film could easily have been
the inspiration for 1987's
Fatal Attraction. As the antagonist gets more and
more obsessive, we begin to wonder how Mr. Eastwood is
going to get free of her and somehow manage to fix the
one relationship he cares about. It will grip you, and
the holy-crap ending may be a bit shocking. |
