"Forget it! I'm stayin'
right where I am. It's gonna take you and the police department
and the fire department and the National Guard to get me outta
here!" - Norma Rae
Why watch this?
Sally Fields, at her best, makes us all root for her and the cause!

Dad's Preview:
In a small town textile mill, the working hours and conditions
are horrible, especially considering the low wages. Norma Rae
takes on the challenging task of swaying the workers to
unionize. This puts her at odds with her family,
fiancé, fellow mill employees, and certainly mill management. I can't say enough
about Salley Fields - she owns this inspiring role. Not too bad
for an actress who started out on TV as
The Flying Nun (1967-1970). |
