				"Forget it! I'm stayin'
right where I am. It's gonna take you and the police department
and the fire department and the National Guard to get me outta

				Why watch this?
Sally Fields, at her best, makes us all root for her and the cause!
				Plot Summary:
Norma Rae Webster, a young, working-class single mother is
employed in a Southern textile mill with harsh conditions. She
is inspired by a visiting union organizer to take a stand and
fight for better conditions for herself and her coworkers.
Despite the challenges to her family life and risks to her
livelihood, she rallies the community in a pursuit for justice
				and human dignity. Dad's Preview:
In a small town textile mill, the working hours and conditions
are horrible, especially considering the low wages. Norma Rae
takes on the challenging task of swaying the workers to
unionize. This puts her at odds with her family,
fiancé, fellow mill employees, and certainly mill management. I can't say enough
about Salley Fields - she owns this inspiring role. Not too bad
for an actress who started out on TV as

				The Flying Nun (1967-1970).
