one of the most creative sci-fi thrillers awhile.

Dad's Preview:
This film's does a great job building suspense. It
starts as a simple story about siblings who happen to
have inherited a California horse ranch that supplies
steeds for Hollywood commercials. Their spread is a dry
scratch-brush expanse, and not much ever happens in a
desolate place like that. Almost immediately, weird
stuff starts to happen... and the ball starts rolling.
By the end, we are on a cascading rollercoaster, and
it's almost as much fun. The sci-fi moments are really
well done, and the film is carried by strong
performances from Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer. This
is a great film to get us thinking "what is really
out there?" |
