"Do you know how much money

				Why watch this? It's
a polished, good-looking modern monster flick.
				Plot Summary:
Six years after an alien invasion resulted in a quarantined
"infected zone" in Mexico, an American journalist is tasked with
escorting a tourist through the dangerous territory to the U.S.
border. Their journey forces them to navigate a devastated
landscape occupied by giant creatures, while American and
Mexican military forces battle to contain them. Ultimately, the
pair confronts the unsettling reality of this new world as they
strive to reach safety. Dad's Preview:
After a NASA probe crashes on Earth, gigantic, tentacled
monsters appear and basically take over Mexico, which is quickly
quarantined. This film, in linear time, takes place
years after the initial invasion, and life has, sort of, moved
on. It is well-done and the creature designs are mesmerizing to
				look upon. This
would pave the way for Gareth Edwards to take on
				Godzilla (2014).
