"Problem is this, it's the only
thing I ever felt good doing. If I'm too old for this, then I
				got nothing.
That enough truth to suit you?"

				Why watch this?
				This boxing film gives
				Rocky
				(1976) a run for its money. It's
				that good.
				Plot Summary:
A determined, 31-year-old waitress named Maggie Fitzgerald
dreams of becoming a professional boxer. She seeks out the
expertise of Frankie Dunn, a grizzled boxing trainer who
initially refuses to work with women or someone Maggie's age.
Through her relentless persistence and with the encouragement of
Frankie's friend, Eddie "Scrap-Iron" Dupris, Frankie eventually
relents and agrees to train Maggie, leading to a profound bond
and an unexpected journey through the world of boxing. Dad's Preview:
It is directed by Eastwood, and narrated by Morgan
Freeman. Starring them both, along with the amazing Hilary
Swank. AND it's an inspirational story about women's boxing!
This superb film flows off the screen like sweat on a boxer's
brow. I really love how our
lady competitor finally wins over her grumpy trainer. Then - that ending. Wow.
				Didn't see that coming.
