				"First you said that
he was retarded. And then you said he was gonna be blind and
deaf. And then you said that he'd never be able to do anything
that regular kids can do. You know, if I had dug his grave for

				Why watch this?
This heart-warming story will lift you up.
				Plot Summary:
This a true story of a teenager with a disfiguring genetic
disorder, Rocky Dennis, who is determined to live a normal,
happy life. Supported by Rusty, his tough but loving biker
mother, Rocky navigates the challenges of school and
adolescence, earning friends with his wit and humanity. Dad's Preview:
Most schools have at least one special person. Without
protections, these kids would be mercilessly tormented by
bullies. Some still are picked-on. The current President made
fun of, on tape, a special needs reporter. How pathetic is that?
This film delivers a story of such a young boy, and his Mom who
advocates for him always. Cher is amazing as a mother who is
tough and times and extremely vulnerable, too. Eric Stoltz
really won me over as Rocky, one of the most normal kids
you'll ever know. It's an unforgettable performance in an
unforgettable movie. You owe it to your family to sit down and
experience this gem, which is based on a true story.
