Dad's Preview:
Stranded. Not on an island. Or in the desert - both of which give
you a remote chance of discovery by sheer dumb luck. Here, Matt
Damon is stranded on the red planet Mars. Help will take months to
arrive, if at all. This film
is a scientific wonder to experience. The lone crafty, determined astronaut must do everything he
can, utilize every idea he can muster, just to create inventions to
prolong his existence. Only then can he even entertain finding a way to get back
to Earth. This is hard sci-fi at its best. |
