I'm the villain? " – Professor Zoom to The Flash
Why watch this?
Flash changes the past, but the new future is altered, and it's
not all good.
Plot Summary: Barry
Allen, the Flash, wakes up in a drastically altered reality
where his mother is alive, his powers are gone, and the Justice
League never formed. This fractured world is embroiled in a
brutal war between Wonder Woman's Amazons and Aquaman's
Atlanteans, leaving destruction in its wake. To set things right
and restore his original timeline, Flash must team up with a
darker, more violent version of Batman and government agent
Cyborg.
Dad's Preview:
DC Comics, like Marvel, often explored "what if" scenarios. DC's
line of comics were referred to as "Elsewheres", and they
were cool. In this film a ton of "what ifs" occur after
Flash impacts time. Yes, he saved his Mom, but now family's are
different, some heroes don't exist, others are different people,
some are less restrained. For Barry Allen, who no longer has
powers, he has to find a way to fix what he did. The voice cast
for this film is absolutely wonderful. The greats, Conroy and
Daly, are back as Batman and Superman. There are a lot of
characters, and it does help to be a DC fan-person, but
most folks will enjoy this time-bending super-adventure.
