"The members of the
Justice League are among the most powerful and potentially
dangerous people on the planet." – Batman
Why watch this?
This awesome animated Justice League film is one of the best.
Plot Summary: The
immortal Vandal Savage steals Batman's confidential files that
outline the weaknesses of the Justice League members. Savage
then assembles his League of Doom comprised of Bane, Cheetah,
Metallo, Mirror Master, Star Sapphire, and Ma'alefa'ak, to
incapacitate the League using Batman's own strategies against
them.
Dad's Preview:
For as much as Warner Brothers bungles Justice League
live-action films, they have shining successes with their
animated JLA flicks. This movie takes place with an experienced
League smoothly operating, as seen when they dispatch the Royal
Flush Gang. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Martian
Manhunter and Green Lantern know the ropes, and a newcomer,
Cyborg lends a highly technical hand. Things get exciting when
the League gets pounded, thanks to a devious plan by Vandal
Savage. I really enjoy the original voice cast from the
Justice League TV series. This is a great story with
surprising revelations, and a must-see for DC comics fans.
