				Why watch this?
This film portrays Jesus as more man than God, and I like that.
				Plot Summary:
This biblical story follows the life of Jesus of Nazareth,
beginning with his birth and early life as a carpenter. It
depicts his journey to fulfill his destiny as the Son of God,
including his baptism, miracles, teachings, and gathering of
disciples. As Jesus's influence grows, he attracts the attention
of both religious and Roman authorities. Dad's Preview:
				This is my
favorite film depiction of the Christ story. I can better relate
to this version. He's a loving son, a loyal friend, a gentle
leader. He's very human. Even the film's title, Jesus, is
muted from the usual grandiose examples: Jesus of Nazareth,
The Greatest Story Ever Told. I honestly feel this is the
				manner He would have appeared
and walked among us. It's so wonderful to see
him form relationships, and actually have a good time with his
disciples. The crucifixion is powerful, but my favorite scene is
the temptation by Satan, wearing a modern black business suit, in the desert.
