Dad's Preview:
Hammer Films and hard-working director Terence Fisher remade
this classic, and, of course, heightened the scares and
sexuality. The dependable Peter Cushing is the perfect Holmes,
and Christopher Lee is excellent as Sir Henry Baskerville. Its mood is
gothic and creepy as our detectives explore
graveyards and tombs amid the foggy moors. The feature is also
sports a haunting musical score.
