				The Stranger
				Why watch this? A
mysterious stranger rides into town... only he knows his intent.
				Plot Summary:
A mysterious Stranger rides into the isolated mining town of
Lago, where he's hired by the fearful townspeople to protect
them from a trio of vengeful outlaws soon to be released from
prison. The Stranger's presence in Lago reveals a dark secret
among the locals and a connection to a past wrong committed in
the town. As the outlaws approach, the Stranger takes unusual
and drastic measures to prepare the town, leading the
townspeople to question their decision to hire him and the price
				of his assistance. Dad's Preview:
With the Sergio Leone years behind him, Eastwood, this time as
director and star, definitely honors his old Italian mentor. A
stranger comes to Lago, a town by a lake in the Old West. Through almost all of the film, the true identity
of the Stranger is unknown. Is he a man seeking revenge? Is he the devil? A ghost?
He forces the townsfolk to paint
every building red. It's dirty, violent and drips of allegory as
he brutally passes judgment on those who clearly deserve
				punishment.
