				Why watch this?
This amazing true story, about a conscientious objector, defines
				the true meaning of America.
				Plot Summary:
As many young men did during World War II, Desmond Doss signed
up to do his part for the country. However, being a Seventh-day
Adventist, he refuses to use a weapon of any kind. After harsh
abuse from military officers trying to make him quit, he finally
is court-martialed. In the military tribunal, he's allowed stay
				in the army as a
medic. Desmond's unit is sent to the Pacific and right
				into the
Battle of Okinawa, a bloody place where medics will be
				badly needed. Dad's Preview:
Courage sometimes exists where you least expect. I have
watched a million war films, and rarely thought about the
medics. They are not the ones traditionally praised in book and
song. But by God, what they do, on those horrible battlefields of
the world, is courageous as hell, and worthy of our recognition.
This inspiring story will help you see what it really means to
				earn the title of 'hero'.
