"There's only one solution.
We must kill him, the way we killed the first Godzilla...
The
Oxygen Destroyer!" - Kenichi Yamane
Why watch this?
Godzilla is pushed to his limits against a new foe, and he's
literally ready to explode.
Plot Summary:
Godzilla's internal nuclear source is approaching a meltdown,
threatening to destroy the Earth. A colony of prehistoric
crustaceans, mutated by the Oxygen Destroyer that killed the
first Godzilla, emerges and evolves into a fearsome monster
known as Destoroyah. The Japanese Self-Defense Forces must find
a way to stop both the rampaging Destoroyah and the catastrophic
meltdown of Godzilla.
Dad's Preview:
The final film in Godzilla's Heisei Era pits Big G against a
creature, Destroyah, a morphing creature that is destroying the
city. Meanwhile, Godzilla's nuclear-powered heart getting
hotter, nearing the potential for a full meltdown. It is pretty
clear where Godzilla's fate lies as this film starts. Fans can
only hope that he's capable of one more valiant defense of the
earth before he explodes!
