"This phenomena is the
storm in which the Nimitz went through less than 18 hours
ago, the storm has had some effect on time as we know it, it
created a portal, a door into another era. Today is December 7,
1941..." – Capt.
Yelland
Why watch this? A
U.S. Aircraft Carrier. A time-travel portal. I'm in for this
one!
Plot Summary: The
modern U.S. aircraft carrier USS Nimitz encounters a mysterious
storm and is transported back in time to December 6, 1941, the
day before the attack on Pearl Harbor. The crew faces a profound
moral and ethical dilemma about whether to intervene in history
and potentially prevent the attack using their superior
technology.
Dad's Preview:
The premise is certainly a "What If" scenario. The fun is to
simply go with it and enjoy the ride. In 1980, the aircraft
carrier USS Nimitz is sucked through a time-portal vortex. The immediate question is whether or not to engage the
enemy with the advanced technology. Will it change history? This
well-done, thrilling, creative film takes us on a wonderful
time-jumping adventure, that packs a punch, and has a memorable
ending.
