				Why watch this?
Wayne's career was in high gear when he made this rip-roaring gem.
				Plot Summary:
Seasoned gunfighter, Cole Thornton, rides into a town and
discovers his old friend, J.P. Harrah, is the sheriff, but he's
also the town drunk. Facing a ruthless landowner, Cole attempts
to help his friend regain his footing and protect the town.
Joined by a young gambler and an aging Indian fighter, the group
must band together to face off against the landowner and his
				henchmen. Dad's Preview:
This is a loose remake of the successful John Wayne film
				Rio Bravo
				(1959). Here
Wayne is gun-for-hire forced to play nursemaid to his
drunken friend,  Sheriff J.P. Harrah. There's lots of action and great
performances by James Caan, as the knife-weilding 'Mississippi', and Robert Mitchum,
stumbling away as the slow-drawling, inebriated lawman.
