				Why watch this?
A great high school film about gossip and the harm it causes.
				Plot Summary: Olive
Penderghast is typical girl who becomes the subject of high
school-wide gossip after a little white lie about her weekend
plans escalates into rumors of promiscuity. Rather than succumb
to the shame, she embraces and even leverages her fabricated
reputation for social and financial gain, often helping other
students with their own image problems. This newfound notoriety,
however, brings its own set of challenges and unexpected
consequences, pushing Olive to confront the true nature of
				reputation and self-perception.
				Dad's Preview:
I really like Olive. It takes a lot of guts and confidence to
				lean into gossip. She even
wears provocative clothes, stitching on a red "A" (from
				the classic novel,

The Scarlet Letter). The humor of this comedy flick
builds as the film moves along, and things get out
of control. It's the very talented, mistress of sarcasm, Emma
Stone, who carries the film. She's so dang cute, and her
				performance is simply awesome.
