"World domination. The
same old dream. Our asylums are full of people
who think they're Naploeon. Or God." - James Bond
Why watch this?
Connery is a Man-of-Action, just like my best friend, DQ
Plot Summary:
James Bond investigates the disappearance of a fellow agent in
Jamaica. His investigation leads him to the mysterious Dr. No
and his heavily guarded island base. Bond, alongside allies
including the beautiful Honey Ryder, must uncover and thwart Dr.
No's sinister plans involving the disruption of the American
space program.
Dad's Preview:
This is the first Bond film to star Sean Connery. It is easily
the most realistic Bond because it's so lean. The super spy
survives on his intelligence and deft skills, not so much on the
fancy gadgetry (which grew more elaborate with each new Bond
movie). Connery is cool as a cucumber, and so suave. He is my
favorite Bond, hands down.
