Plot Summary:
Two inexperienced individuals attempt to rob a bank in Brooklyn.
When their plan quickly goes wrong and the police surround the
building, a tense hostage situation develops. The film then
explores the standoff between the robbers and law enforcement,
while also revealing the surprising motivations behind their
actions and the developing media circus around the event.

Out of desperation, Sonny and Sal, attempt to rob a bank. However, they
don't intend to hurt anyone. The police arrive and there's a
memorable stand-off. Critics have praised both the film
realistic feel, and the actor's performances, notably Pacino and
John Cazale as the shy, troubled Sal.
