Plot Summary: A
scientific expedition ventures into the Amazon, discovering a
prehistoric amphibious creature in a secluded lagoon. The
creature, known as the Gill-man, becomes fascinated with a
female scientist on the team. This leads to thrilling and
suspenseful encounters as the team attempts to capture the
creature, while also dealing with its attempts to abduct the
woman.

Dad's Preview:
This addition to Universal Studios' stable of monster films has long
been one of my favorites. The creature's costume design is
organically
intricate. I know this because I constructed the
Aurura model kit of the famed
aquatic humanoid. Campiness never felt so good in this creepy
creature-feature. |
