				Why watch this?
There's no Avengers without Captain America.
				Plot Summary: Steve
Rogers, a weak but determined young man, is chosen for an
experimental program to become a super-soldier during World War
II. After his transformation, "Captain America" uses his
newfound abilities to fight the Nazi-backed HYDRA organization,
led by the dangerous Johann Schmidt (aka the Red Skull). Cap,
along with his allies, including Bucky Barnes and Peggy Carter,
face off against HYDRA in a war against a new level of evil. Dad's Preview:
I was initially concerned with Chris Evans. In
The Fantastic Four (2005), he played cocky Johnny Storm,
and I found him annoying. However, his move into the role of
Captain America was the right choice. This is a superb hero origin story. Yes, I know it's
corny at times, but maybe American needs a little more of that.
This film is one of the cornerstones of what became the
				Marvel Cinematic Universe
				(MCU).
