Why watch this? ...
simply put, Billy Jack is one tough hombre!
Plot Summary:
Vietnam veteran Billy Jack confronts a ruthless motorcycle gang
terrorizing a small California town. When several young women
are assaulted and intimidated by the gang, Billy Jack steps in
to protect one of the victims and ensure she can testify. This
sparks an escalating conflict as Billy Jack battles both the
violent bikers and the town's complacent authorities.
Dad's Preview:
I saw this film at a drive-in, naturally, in El Paso, Texas,
thanks to my older sister. I must say its violence shocked me.
It's one of the better "B" movie at the time and there were
two sequels. Sure, the acting is sub par, but some of the scenes are really intense, and Laughlin's
martial arts skills are unquestionably impressive.
