Plot Summary: Two
strangers, Jesse and Celine, who meet on a train in Europe.
Jesse, an American, convinces Celine, a French student, to
spontaneously disembark with him in Vienna to spend the night
together before his flight the next morning. They explore
Vienna, engaging in deep conversations about life and love, and
developing a strong connection despite knowing their time
together is limited.

Dad's Preview:
This is one of the most honest, enduring romance films I have
ever encountered. It is a refreshing story consisting mostly of the
young pair's
candid conversations over 24 hours. It's unforced, intimate and incredibly real.
This is the result of the steady direction of Richard Linklater, and incredible performances by Julie Delpy
and Ethan Hawke. We cannot help but become intimately
involved in this one day love affair. The good news?
There are two amazing sequels. |
