Dad's Preview:
This documentary is semi-biographical, with lots of
input from the three living bandmates: Page, Plant and
Bonham. It covers the band's formation and early days up
to and including their incredible rise to the being the
No. 1 band in the world. Like the Beatles, it is a rare
moment in history that these four lads found each other,
then created the legacy we all know as Led Zeppelin.
I enjoyed what I learned about Jimmy Page. He was really
more of a catalyst in the band than I realized, even
more than frontman Robert Plant. Jimmy's wild
experimentation with electric sounds and guitar
innovations led to some of hard rock's most unique
inventions. So, get the led out and explore this
documentary. |
