"You think you're unworthy to lead because you're of two different worlds? But that is exactly why you are worthy! You are the bridge between land and sea!" - Mera

Why watch this? Director Wan delivers big-time on Aquaman's ascension to become King of Atlantis.

Plot Summary: Arthur Curry, a human-born heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, embarks on a journey to stop a potential war between the ocean and land worlds. His half-brother, Orm, the current king of Atlantis, plans to unite the seven underwater kingdoms and wage war against the surface dwellers. With help from Princess Mera, Arthur must embrace his destiny and find the lost legendary Trident of Atlan to become the rightful king and prevent Orm's destructive plans

Dad's Preview: Similar to Wonder Woman (2017), Warner Brothers delivered this film about the aquatic superhero Aquaman. This takes place after the events in Zach Snyder's Justice League (2021).  Director Wan's creation of the undersea kingdom is visually stunning. This solid adventure flick flows well, with lots of action and a solid romance between Arthur and Mera. It is really a shame that the DCEU never became the success it could have.
