				Plot Summary: Set in
1955 New York City, a private investigator Harry Angel is hired
by the enigmatic Louis Cyphre to find a missing singer named
Johnny Favorite, last seen in New Orleans. As Angel delves
deeper into the investigation, he encounters occult practices,
violence, and a string of mysterious deaths, leading him to a
disturbing truth about himself and his client. Dad's Preview:
This dark, noir film takes un into a world of grimey crime,
including blood rituals and forbidden passions. Its
dank vibe is enhanced by a dream-like quality. Every scene feels like an evil intelligence is controlling
each twist and turn. Rourke is surly enough, but De Niro
captivates as his dark and devious employer.
