"You realize we're all going to go to college as virgins. They probably have special dorms for people like us." – Jim

Why watch this? It's a pretty good film about sexual angst for young teens.

Plot Summary: Four high school seniors nearing graduation embark on a quest to reach a significant personal milestone before their time at school concludes. Their journey is filled with awkward social encounters and comedic mishaps as they navigate the complexities of teenage romance and peer pressure. Ultimately, the group learns that genuine connections and friendship are more meaningful than the specific goals they initially set for themselves.

Dad's Preview: Every generation has its prominent sex comedy. My older brother had The Graduate (1967). I secretly enjoyed Animal House (1978) and my nephew lusted over Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982). The late 90's gave us this raunchy high school romp about four lads determined to lose their virginity before going to college. This movie is full of gross pranks and pseudo-sexual encounters all successfully conveying the awkwardness of being that age. Basically, guys want to do it, and girls want to hear the "L" word... before they do it. The young cast is often hilarious to watch, and it was a great decision to cast veteran actor Eugene Levy, as Jim's nerdy dad - a concerned man every father can relate to. If crude and sexual humor offends, you might skip this. The rest of us will take it for what it is - a spicy, light-hearted teen comedy.
