TUSCOLA (RNS) - Funeral for Clayberen Curtis McBride, 48, of Fort Worth, will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Oplin Baptist Church with Dan Burrow, Church of Christ minister of Abilene, and the Rev. Ken Dennis, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Oplin Cemetery under direction of Fry Funeral Home.

Mr. McBride died at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at his mother's home east of Ovalo after a sudden illness.

Mr. McBride was born Feb. 8, 1922, at Oplin. He married Laura Dobna July 28, 1945, at Abilene. He moved to Fort Worth in 1947 and was employeed at General Dynamics from 1947 to 1965 when he retired. He was a member of the American Legion in Fort Worth.

Survivors are his wife of Fort Worth; one daughter, Mrs. Bryan Cannon of Fort Worth; his mother, Mrs. W. P. McBride of Ovalo; two sisters, Mrs. Austin Saunders of Coleman and Mrs. Jack May of Ovalo; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one sister and his father.

Pallbearers will be D. Reyna, Albert Betcher, Marvin Rutland, Loyd Steakley, Ed Graham and Glen Swor.
