Charley Straley Dead
Word was received Wednesday afternoon to the effect that Charley Straley, son of
Mrs. Mary Straley of Adamsville, died in the sanitarium at Temple, where he had
gone for an appendicitis operation. It is not known here whether he had been
operated on or not, but he as been there since last Saturday. His sister, Mrs.
H. L. Archie, went over to Temple Monday morning to be with him during the
operation, but it could not be ascertained whether he has been operated on. He
was about twenty-three years old, and grandson of J. L. Straley who celebrated
his 100th birthday Tuesday of this week. |
