Why watch this? It's
hard to believe, but this franchise remains great!
Plot Summary:
When Bonnie creates a reluctant new toy named Forky from craft
supplies, Woody takes it upon himself to protect the newcomer
during a family road trip. After Forky runs away, Woody's rescue
mission leads him to an unexpected reunion with his old friend
Bo Peep, who has embraced a new life as a lost toy. Torn between
his loyalty to his child and a newfound sense of freedom, Woody
must decide where his future truly lies.
Dad's Preview:
Where could this film franchise to after the stellar
Toy Story 3 (2010)?
The answer is keep doing what works, and reinvent. This time
around, our favorite toys set out on another adventure to rescue
the least of them, a craft-day-enhanced spork named Forky. At
this point, we know that it's all going to fine, but there are
honestly some tense moments here. I really enjoyed a new
character voiced by Keanu Reeves named "Duke Caboom", a
motorcycle daredevil who helps save the day. As expected, the
film is fun and heart-warming, like visiting your grandparents
farm in the summertime.
