Dad's Preview: I do love a good werewolf film.
There's just something about a human changing into a
hairy monster that howls at the moon and has no control
over their actions. You know, like I did in college. This
creature feature by horror director Tobe Hooper (The
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)) is a lot of bloody fun, with
plenty of jump scares
and gore to boot. It is actually a
mystery horror film, as the plot works to solve the
mysterious murders in a small town. It's not a shock
that this film is based on the Stephen King novella
Cycle of the Werewolf. |
