Why watch this film?
This is a film on comedy steroids... with good and bad
side-effects.
Plot Summary:
A talented martial artist embarks on a quest to avenge the
brutal murder of his parents by an evil kung-fu master. Along
the way, he joins forces with a unique group of allies and

Dad's Preview: First, I feel
the need to level-set. This film was brought into our
happy home by my children. When I first viewed this
crude comedy, I could only muster, "That was so odd..."
Upon the next 998 viewings, I must confess that I grew
quite fond of director/star Steve Oedekerk's comedic
indulgences. Every scene, every outrageous pratfall and
every silly voiceover is determined to get a laugh (the
fight with the cow is hilarious). However, to enjoy this
parody film, you must do one thing first: suspend any
need for believability. There's a karate-capable
milk cows, gopher-chucks, and that's just for a start.

Master of Disguise (2002), which I do, then this
comedy is for you. |
